Acupuncture involves the insertion of single-use sterile needles into predetermined points in the body. Acupuncture originated thousands of years ago and is based on the belief that health is determined by a balanced flow of energy, or "chi". There is a disruption in this energy when our body experiences pain, which can be restored through acupuncture.

Acupuncture can be used to relieve pain, increase energy, improve mood, and help restore body function. There are many conditions it can aid in the recovery of, including but not limited to:

  • Neck pain / Whiplash

  • Headaches

  • Golfer's or Tennis Elbow

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

  • Jaw pain

  • Low back pain

  • Incontinence and bladder urgency

  • Knee pain

  • Ankle sprain

  • Plantar fasciitis

K-tape is a water-resistant and breathable tape that has long wear-ability and a high level of comfort. It is used as an adjunct in physiotherapy treatment to help aid in muscle tension reduction, inflammation, and joint instability.

Active Release Therapy

Active Release Therapy is a hands on technique to treat soft tissue disorders (muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves). Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly with this form of therapy.
