Meet Hilary
Hilary McDermott, MScPT, BScKIN
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Hi, I'm Hilary. I'm a pelvic floor physiotherapist passionate about helping women move confidently through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond.
I believe pelvic floor physiotherapy should be proactive, individualized, and empowering—not just something you seek when symptoms become overwhelming. My approach combines hands-on treatment, movement, exercise, education, and a whole-body perspective to help you understand your symptoms, restore function, and feel confident in your body again.
As a mom of two, I understand firsthand how much our bodies change through different stages of life, and I love helping women navigate those changes with confidence and compassion.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University before earning my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, I've had the privilege of helping thousands of women navigate pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, and every stage in between.
Since graduating, I have pursued extensive post-graduate training in pelvic floor physiotherapy and now practice exclusively in this area. I remain committed to ongoing education to ensure my patients receive the most current, evidence-informed care.
In addition to treating patients, I mentor and train other pelvic floor physiotherapists and am passionate about advancing pelvic health education both in the clinic and through social media.
Whether you're pregnant, newly postpartum, navigating perimenopause, or have been living with symptoms for years, I'd love the opportunity to help you feel confident in your body again.
