Pessary Fittings
Support your body. Stay active. Feel confident.
A pessary is a small, soft medical device inserted into the vagina to help support your pelvic organs. It can be an effective, non-surgical option for managing symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse or stress urinary incontinence—especially if you want to stay active, delay or avoid surgery, or need added support during postpartum healing.
As a pelvic floor physiotherapist trained in pessary fittings, I offer personalized assessments to help determine if a pessary is right for you. Together, we’ll find the best option based on your body, lifestyle, and goals.

Pessary FAQ's
Does a pessary hurt?
Not when properly fitted. Most people don’t feel it once it’s in place.
Can I have sex with a pessary?
Some types are compatible with penetrative intercourse, and others are not. We'll discuss the best options for your needs.
Can I manage it myself?
Most people are able to learn how to remove, clean, and reinsert their pessary with a bit of practice and support. However, some individuals—such as those with limited hand mobility, cognitive changes, or other health considerations—may prefer or require regular in-clinic care. We’ll work together to find a plan that feels safe and manageable for you.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is necessary to book a pessary fitting.
